Dysport

Longevity Aesthetics is now offering the latest addition to its injectable family, Dysport. Dysport was originally devloped in the United Kingdom in the early 1990's. It's approved by the FDA and has been used safely for years throughout most of Europe, south america and other countries.

How does the procedure work? Dysport temporarily relaxes the muscles in the face to reduce wrinkles and deep lines that occur as people age. Studies have shown that people treated with Dysport have noticed a reduction in their facial wrinkles within a week after treatment. Multiple treatments have shown the results to last more than 13 months. Dysport is typically used to treat wrinkles in the forehead, crow's feet around the eyes and frown lines between the eyes.

How long will the effect last? Receiving Dysport is a a fast and virtually painelss procedure that doesn't require any downtime. Like other Botulinum Toxin Type A injectables, average results last up to four months or more.

What is the difference between Dysport and BOTOX Cosmetic? Even though Dysport and Botox Cosmetic are Botulinum Toxin products and serve similar functions, they are not the same drug. Both have some chemical differences, require different dossages, and offer different possible side effects. Ask if Dysport is right for you.
